How can parents help keep their children’s teeth healthy?

Regular tooth cleaning should begin as soon as the first baby teeth appear, initially without toothpaste. Avoid too many sweets, sugary teas and excessive fruit juice. Brushing before bed is particularly important: without it, acids produced by bacteria can act on the teeth all night. It is worth bringing children for a check-up twice a year, both to detect problems early and to let them get to know the dentist while their teeth are still healthy.

Children need to get to know the person who will care for and treat their teeth. Every parent wants their child to sit calmly in the dental chair, rather than with tears in their eyes and trembling lips. A first dental treatment is a formative experience, and I do my best to make it a positive one for your child.
